This isn’t about mastering the craft. It’s about reclaiming the reason you started.

These courses aren't tutorials. They're invitations. Invitations to return to your voice, your gut, your edge.

Whether you’re writing, performing, or just trying to figure out what the hell you’re meant to say—this is where you stop performing and start telling the truth.

You don’t need permission to begin.

Just a willingness to show up, crack something open, and create like it matters.

If you’re ready, the door’s open.

On This Season.

So many of my past students have talked about the story they have to tell. And so many of you have asked me to read your work. That’s why I created this first group mentoring session—to finally dive into that story with you, and help guide it into the world.

A creative writing class built on escapism, imagination, and freedom. Let go of limits, leap into desire, and write like the cage is open—because it is. Your imagination is the way out.

I matter. I stand proudly in my space. It is not my responsibility to please other people. I am a strong, powerful woman with a voice and needs, who refuses to stay small and silent any more.

I now claim this, and actually believe it.

The I'M SORRY MONOLOGUE Workshops have truly helped me transform my life. Through a unique series of activities, the guidance of Jennifer, and the support of the phenomenal women in the community, I was able to explore past experiences in an honest way, and free myself from old patterns, limiting beliefs, and guilt that I wasn't even aware I was carrying.

In these workshops I felt seen, heard, understood, and validated. And I was very creatively stimulated.

If you are ready to shed your mask and transform, elevate, up-level, and become the powerhouse woman you were meant to be, this is the workshop for you!

[Lisa Cappiello]

I didn’t even realise how much I needed a class like this until I was in it. Jennifer creates an extraordinarily safe space where all the messy, real, raw truths and personal scars get turned into something kind of, well, magical. Jennifer’s guidance is fearless, compassionate and extremely insightful. In one class she observed that it felt like I had stepped out of a shadow...in truth I was peaking out of the shadow, working with Jen woke me the fuck up and the shadow was no more. This is more than just a class, this is about community and connection, it teaches you how to reclaim your voice, turn your truth into art and ROAR if you need to.

Attending this workshop was a truly life-changing experience for me. I’ve taken it twice and had the privilege of being part of the original stage reading where Jennifer was my mentor. Jennifer is an incredibly smart, insightful, and dedicated guide who invested so much time in preparing me for the stage. The workshops, especially being part of the first reading group, provided me with a sense of community and sisterhood that I hadn’t experienced before. It’s rare to encounter someone who will listen so deeply and offer such a supportive platform, but Jennifer did exactly that. I’m immensely grateful to both Alicia and Jennifer for bringing us together and making this transformative experience possible.

[Elle Jones]

There is a collective energy among women. A knowingness that sticks to you after you navigate this world as a female. A feeling of being told “know your place” “be grateful you’re here” “you’re different then the other girls” etc. A lifetime of being separated out of the pack of your female counterparts. It’s lonely and isolating.

The “I’m Sorry” movement is all of us who somehow wandered off coming back together, plugging in and finding that eternal strength that is female energy. It’s strong and mighty and scary and in this group celebrated. And finally we can stop being sorry for who and what we are! Somehow Jennifer and Alicia heard our silent cry’s and cultivated a group that is not looking back, not apologizing, not playing small. And we’re just getting started!

[April Audia]

I’M SORRY MONOLOGUES was an unanticipated therapy intensive. I’m not a writer or actor, but when I saw the topic, I felt a strong pull to dive in and explore. While going through the workshop, so many dots were connect, and I healed in a way I could have never imagined. It doesn’t matter who you are. It doesn’t matter your background. This workshop will change you.

[Amanda Wheeler]

I’m not fucking sorry anymore! This course helped me see the filtered version of myself that was stuck inside the shell of a human that I had become. It broke me open and lifted the writers block I was hiding behind. I felt empowered by the energy shared in that sacred space. To be with other women who truly support one another was incredible. Best choice I made in a long time. Dive in and become who you really are with no apologies.

[Linzy Taylor]

I signed up for the “I’m Sorry Monologue” class because it intrigued me that I find myself apologizing all the time. I wanted to see what the class was about. What I found was a community of women that were ready to work through some intense subject matters through writing from deep within. What I found was a community of women looking for a safe place to make their voices heard and we found the place in this community. This is so much bigger than a class or a workshop. Jennifer and Alicia has created a place for us to plant our seeds, enrich the soil, and shower it with water, sunshine and love. Together through support and growth, we are given the freedom to create and what is growing is a movement of so many beautiful voices.

[Deborah Louise Ortiz]

I joined the I’m Sorry Monologues when I read the description about the class. I was sick and tired of apologizing over and over and over. I was in emotional pain about it and the classes helped me get out from under the I’m sorry bus. I never worked on any of this before. I didn’t know how. The workshop was/is such a safe space to work and grow. I learned relaxation skills in class that I use all the time. I’m not the same person I was before I hit the submit button. Super grateful to be part of an amazing group of women.

[Annie Pisapia]

I have participated in two I’m Sorry Monologue workshops with Jennifer and recently had the opportunity to meet Alicia in a community Zoom call. I’m still wondering how I got so lucky to find this group of women who are exactly what I didn’t know I was looking for! Jenn and Alicia have created what “awake” women need — a safe environment to build self-worth and reject the limiting cages imposed on us by a society that underestimates and devalues women. This group has no agenda other than to create a home for women who want to help one another shoulder the struggles of walking this crazy path called life, and Jennifer and Alicia’s authenticity in leadership makes it real!

[Stacey Messina]

I took the “I’m Sorry Monologues” class to help me reignite my passion for writing. I put my career on hold to be a stay-at-home mom so I have been taking care of everyone but myself for the past 17 years. I feel like I have so much to share after 52 years on this planet and I am excited to be able to use my creative mind again. The other part for me, that is so important, is the AMAZING COMMUNITY of POWERFUL, TALENTED and WISE WOMEN! It has been such a blessing. I am so grateful.

[Shannon Drenik]

I was so excited to be accepted for the workshop! It was powerful and deep. Afterward, it’s left me questioning and doubting my healing after 18 years, so I’m reassessing that and doing more inner shadow work. I’m not sure where that’s going to lead, but will be another interesting journey.

Before the Leap, a Little Clarity.

  • No. You just need to be honest about where you’re starting from. These courses are for anyone who feels the pull to create—whether you’re published, produced, or holding an idea you’ve never spoken aloud.

  • Good. That means there’s something real in you. This work isn’t about perfection—it’s about truth. Bring your fear. We work with it, not around it.

  • All courses are currently held live on Zoom so you can join from anywhere in the world. Sessions are immersive, personal, and rooted in real-time connection—whether you’re speaking, writing, or just showing up for the work. Full details are provided with each course listing.

  • Yes, in all live group or mentorship-based courses. You’ll receive guidance and thoughtful critique—in a space that’s honest, respectful, and built for creative growth.

  • Because space is limited and the work is personal, all course registrations are final and non-refundable.

Please register only if you’re truly ready to show up for yourself and the process.

  • Live replays are not available. These courses are designed to be experienced in real time, in community. If you miss a session, you miss that part of the work. We know life happens—but showing up live is part of the commitment to yourself and to the group.

  • No. These courses are not a replacement for mental health support. They’re creative containers that might stir things up—and that’s part of the work. Please come with readiness, not reliance.

  • No.

    This is your space.

You decide how much you share, when you share it, and if you ever share it at all.

The goal here is to build the work and build you—not to force you into public performance.

  • Once you submit your application, you’ll receive a confirmation email. If you’re accepted into the course or mentorship, we’ll follow up with next steps for registration and payment. Because space is limited and this work is deeply personal, not all applicants will be accepted—and that’s okay. This isn’t about worth. It’s about timing, fit, and readiness.

If it’s meant to be, you’ll know. And if not now—maybe soon.

NO PERMISSION NEEDED.
